The training, lasting five days, focused on the robotic camera segment (PTZ), covering in detail all the features and adjustments that the brand's robotic cameras offer to the audiovisual market.

“It has always been Panasonic's desire and also a request from our resellers throughout Latin America that Panasonic provide extremely detailed training on all the features and adjustments that our cameras can offer their customers. Panasonic products are technological and innovative and have numerous features and possibilities for adjustment according to the demands of each customer, however, to be aware of everything, it is not enough to carry out conventional training, but rather to carry out extremely detailed training in an environment professional and appropriate that allows the simulation of different scenarios and conditions, hence the decision to carry out the training at Universidade Mackenzie”, said Rodrigo Costa, Sales Manager at Panasonic do Brasil.

“It is our obligation as a factory to qualify our resellers, both in the pre-sales and post-sales processes, aiming to satisfy our end customers. And it is this context that gives rise to this certification plan that we are developing with this series of training”, explained the executive.

Upon finalizing the certification plan, Costa assured that Panasonic sought to form an alliance with Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. “We needed to do this training in a very professional way. And to do this, at broadcast level, it was necessary to have a suitable environment that offered the possibility of having a professional studio. And Mackenzie has all the requirements, that's why we formed a partnership. From that moment on we created this in-depth training. This is a very detailed, careful and judicious training that at the end of the training our resellers are subjected to an assessment so that they can be certified", he assured, highlighting that to carry out the project the company made a significant investment not only regarding the cameras, but also the color adjustment tools, among other details.

“As part of the experience, we took our resellers to our factory in Extrema (MG) so they could get to know us. It is a new, technological, constantly expanding and sustainable factory. So far, the comments received by participating resellers indicate that the training was very rich and detailed in all its content. Now, our intention is to expand this plan so that, in addition to robotic cameras (PTZs), it also includes studio cameras, camcorders and the Lumix line”, commented Costa.

Among the resellers who participated in the training were representatives from companies such as Zeus Broadcast, Broadmedia, TV Group, LIM, VideoBroadcast, Broadcast Solutions, Foco Vídeo, Inresa and others. The objective is for this type of training to be carried out with all of our resellers.

The training was given by Rafael Plaça, Pre-Sales Engineer at Panasonic do Brasil, who shared his evaluation of the experience: “It was an excellent week where we had the opportunity to strengthen ties with our business partners in Latin America and exchange knowledge and experiences”, while adding: “We intend to carry out other trainings taking advantage of the partnership between Panasonic and the University with the aim of expanding the scope of knowledge of our products”.

Plaça highlighted that, during the visit to the factory in Extrema, the focus was on technical support. “It was a day where participants received training with our service engineer, Fabricio Silva, focused on identifying and solving problems”, he concluded.
