At InfoComm 2024, Panasonic announced additions to its AV solutions suite to drive innovative and engaging visual experiences across all industries. Dynamic imagery from immersive exhibitions is no longer reserved solely for entertainment spaces: they are key to engaging audiences, from classrooms to corporate meeting rooms and places of worship.

Visitors to the show had the opportunity to explore solutions that support the entire process from immersive entertainment to dynamic worship services and engaging corporate events, powered by the combined strength of its Kairos live video production platform and PT-RQ50KU projectors.

Highlighting the power of captivating digital art displays to unite communities, visitors to the booth accessed replicas of the Los Angeles City Hall and a historic building in downtown Binghamton, New York. These replicas showcased examples of projection mapping works by A3 Visual and the Luma Projection Arts Festival, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary next September. Additionally, Panasonic hosted a Full Swing golf simulation experience at its booth, powered by its projection technology.

Among the new solutions showcased at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Panasonic highlighted its PT-REQ15/REZ15 series 4K 1-chip DLPTM projectors, which produce sharp and deep 4K images in any environment. Its optical engine and laser light source module meet the IP5X dust protection standard, while the backup input and multi-laser drive engine allow it to operate reliably in tough conditions. These projectors also comply with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA).

Another launch at the event was Panasonic's Silky Fine Mist, which enhances magnificent artistic spaces both indoors and outdoors using pressurized water and compressed air to create a fine mist of particles that float easily in the air and project light beams to create a 3D hologram-like effect.

Driving More Engaging Collaboration

Panasonic's booth at InfoComm 2024 showcased an innovative approach to fostering onsite collaboration in corporate and educational spaces. Visitors could visualize concepts and ideas in a shared immersive environment using the new PT-RQ7 series 4K 1-chip DLP projectors to envelop an entire space, from floor to ceiling, in dynamic images. With IGLOO's innovative technology, teams can share any type of digital content, including immersive virtual reality or 360° content. This helps increase efficiency and provides students and employees with a dynamic and immersive learning and working experience. This area of the booth also featured Panasonic's ecosystem of professional displays, PTZ cameras, and ceiling microphone technology designed to automate hybrid workflows in the classroom for engaging remote and in-person experiences.

The space also included the brand's Media Production Suite, which centralizes camera management for small team operations, streamlining camera setup and providing a wide range of functions to support high-quality video production. The suite adds production value to Panasonic's PTZ camera portfolio by adding new paid plugin features (coming soon), such as AI Keying and automatic tracking.

Another attraction was the new ET-FMP50 series multimedia processor, designed to streamline workflows while supporting enhanced performance. It offers camera-based warping/blending and 4K multimedia playback capability. Additionally, it eases the burden on teams when installing and adjusting multiple projection attractions, making operations more efficient and agile.
