The LUMIX S F1.8 Series 18mm lens combines an ultra-wide angle, a compact form, and outstanding imaging performance. With the addition of this lens, the world of visuals grows broader and deeper. Focus breathing inhibition and seamless exposure control contribute to the beautifully smooth video capture. The S-Prime line of F1.8 offer a seamless paring, when switching between focal lengths with the same colour and rendering characteristics.

Dust, splash and freeze-resistant design

The LUMIX S 18mm F1.8 is designed to keep shooting in the toughest at temperatures as low as -10 °C. The lens features a highly effective dust and splash resistant construction.

Ideal for video recording

The lens offers smooth and quiet autofocus performance with minimal focus breathing ideal for the modern content creator. The precise aperture control allows for 1/200th increments, delivering effortless exposure changes without large jumps, handy when shooting with a gimbal.

S-S18 lens construction

The optimised configuration has 13 elements in 12 groups, including 3 ASPH, 1 UED, 3 ED and 1 UHR lenses to minimise aberrations and ensure superb resolution.
