The event will feature the special presence of Thiago Cauduro, who will share exclusive knowledge on audiovisual production, demonstrating the innovative features and capabilities of the Lumix S5II and S5IIx cameras.

“Although it is not the first event in Brazil where we will present the Lumix camera, because we have already done it at the Merlin Road Show in Fortaleza, it will be its launch at an exclusive Panasonic event,” explained Rodrigo Costa, Sales Manager of Panasonic do Brasil. “It will be an important event where the main idea is that Thiago Cauduro can share his experience with the other guests about how his experience was with the use of Lumix in the production and creation of content. We are interested in sharing your feedback on the use of the camera and its reliability with all those attending the event,” he explained.
The executive also highlighted the choice of the Cinematheque as the venue chosen for the presentation. “It is a very good space and we are very happy to hold this first event in São Paulo, where we will be accompanied by all our Brazilian partners. It is a type of event that we will replicate throughout Latin America, adapting the size and format of each presentation,” he expressed.

Main features of the Lumix camera

Among the features of the Panasonic Lumix camera are its advanced functions, such as PDAF and image stabilization, which make using the camera a truly rewarding experience. In addition to capturing high-quality photos and videos with unlimited recording, this compact camera allows users to have a significant margin of mobility.

It is the first Lumix mirrorless camera, offering a phase detection AF system that radically improves subject tracking and light recognition performance. The camera can capture complex scenes involving multiple subjects, providing accuracy even in backlit or low-light environments. Likewise, it is worth noting that its advanced detection AF goes beyond the limits in sports, wildlife, and automobile or motorcycle photography. More precise recognition of the human body allows users to isolate a subject from a group of athletes, for example, and shoot continuously.

On the other hand, this new camera includes an active image stabilizer that allows recording while the user walks since, when active, it determines the state of the camera movement and optimizes the correction rates to compensate for even significant movement; while its advanced electronic image stabilizer suppresses peripheral distortion that occurs during video recording.

Until now, Lumix allowed users to check their images on the monitor in real time. Now, with the new camera, users can also record in-camera photos and videos, which have had LUTs applied, using the .VLT or .CUBE file formats. Live Cropping even creates pan, tilt, zoom, and zoom effects on the image in real time, allowing you to experiment with advanced in-camera video production without requiring specialized editing or recording skills.

Among its main attributes, this new camera supports time-lapse capture to create lapse videos on the camera body itself and also in 4K at 60p/50p. Still photos can also be shot with V-Log or Like709 for excellent handling in post-production. Exposure smoothing takes place during processing, resulting in beautiful time-lapse videos with smooth exposure changes.
