São Paulo, May 11, 2026 - Panasonic do Brasil Limitada (“Panasonic”) today announced the establishment of local manufacturing capabilities for biomethane upgrading equipment in Brazil, through a strategic partnership with Greenlane Renewables Inc. (“Greenlane”), a global leader in biogas upgrading technologies.

Greenlane is a pioneer in biogas upgrading, with more than three decades of experience and more than 500 systems deployed in over 30 countries. Its technologies enable the transformation of biogas from organic waste into high-value renewable natural gas, contributing to the decarbonization of various sectors.

The collaboration enables the local production of Greenlane's Cascade LF and Cascade MS systems in Brazil, with manufacturing taking place at Panasonic's facilities in São José dos Campos (SP). As part of the initiative, Panasonic will invest in infrastructure improvements and structural adaptations, as well as tooling and production capabilities, while also supporting project execution through its industrial expertise and financial strength. Initial investments are estimated in the range of R$ 8 to 10 million, with the potential to support significant annual project volumes as the market develops.

This initiative represents an important step in the development of a scalable biomethane ecosystem in Brazil, combining advanced technology with local manufacturing to improve the viability of projects and meet the growing demand for renewable gas solutions in the country.

“This collaboration represents more than just local production – it’s the foundation for building a scalable industrial platform to support the growth of biomethane in Brazil,” said Michael Coleridge, B2B Business Director at Panasonic do Brasil Limitada. “By combining Greenlane’s advanced technology with Panasonic’s industrial capabilities, we are contributing to the development of practical and economically viable solutions that accelerate the energy transition. This initiative is aligned with Panasonic’s Green Impact vision and our broader commitment to decarbonization and the circular economy. We see this collaboration as a significant step in strengthening Brazil’s role in the global energy transition.”

“We are pleased to formalize our collaboration with Panasonic, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and technology solutions,” said Brad Douville, Chief Executive Officer of Greenlane Renewables. “Establishing local production in Brazil is a fundamental step to strengthen our ability to serve and scale in this strategic market. By combining our technology with Panasonic’s industrial capabilities and financial strength, we are well-positioned to accelerate the adoption of biomethane solutions and support the development of new projects throughout the region.”

As part of the partnership, Greenlane will retain responsibility for technological development, supply chain management, marketing and sales, as well as commissioning and servicing of the systems, while Panasonic will lead manufacturing and support project execution in the Brazilian market.

Brazil represents a significant opportunity for the development of biomethane, driven by the abundance of organic waste, a consolidated biofuel industry, and the growing interest of investors and industrial players in renewable energy solutions. Local production should contribute to the expansion of this market, allowing for greater efficiency in project delivery and strengthening the national supply chain.
