In this edition, Panasonic had the participation of digital creator Daniel Cajal, who was specially invited to share his experience as a filmmaker with the Lumix S5IIx cameras.
"I was in Florianópolis participating in the Merlin Road Show, accepting Panasonic's invitation, to exchange ideas and experiences of use with the new Lumix S5IIx camera. It was an incredible event, the place was packed and many people were interested," said Cajal, who in his presentation provided details about his professional career using the Lumix line in all his filmmaker projects. "The contact with the public was excellent. I love participating in audiovisual events, I always arrive early and try to talk to everyone, and in this case the communication was very fluid," he evaluated.
After Cajal's conference, the entire Panasonic lineup was presented, which included: the Lumix S5IIx and S5II mirrorless cameras, which are designed to meet the demands of the most ambitious content creators; a wide variety of PTZ robotic camera models; and the GH7, Lumix's flagship hybrid camera, which allows you to produce high-quality and efficient content with minimal setup. Also shown at the event was the Chroma Keyless function, which is integrated into software called Media Production Suite and allows image cropping without the need for a green background.

STRONG PRESENCE OF PANASONIC DO BRASIL AT CAPER SHOW 2024
Panasonic do Brasil participated in CAPER Show 2024, the Argentine broadcast industry event, held from October 29 to 31 in the City of Buenos Aires. The show, which brought together more than 5,000 professionals from the audiovisual industry, is an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and presentation of new technologies.
At the BVS - Conocimiento & Tecnologia stand, integrator of the Argentine market, the Japanese brand was represented by Rodrigo Costa, Sales Manager of Panasonic do Brasil and by Pre-Sales Engineer Renato Goya.
“During the CAPER Show we presented our Lumix cameras for the first time in Argentina, which aroused a lot of interest in visitors because it is a very good camera, which guarantees good results and with a very attractive cost-benefit. We also showcased our high-end professional studio camera AK-UC4000, which allows users to operate it in 4K and HD, enabling the production of HD images with high sensitivity and low noise. Likewise, reaffirming our world leadership in robotic cameras, we exhibited the AW-UE150 PTZ that, with 4K 50p, opens new possibilities in audiovisual production,” explained Costa, who also highlighted the introduction of the Kairos switcher to the Argentine market. “Based on software, it provides all the resources of a conventional switcher but has unlimited flexibility for both input and output and for different operations. “It is a new concept that is having great success around the world,” he said.
The executive also emphasized the debut in Argentina of a new Chroma Keyless solution, designed for robotic PTZ cameras, which allows image cropping without the need for a green background. “It's a Panatrack rail system, designed to work together with our robotic PTZ cameras,” he explained.
In addition to the exhibition, the event featured workshops and seminars where big names in the industry participated.
PANASONIC OF BRAZIL AT FILMTECH 2024
In association with i9 Store, Panasonic do Brasil participated in FilmTech 2024, an audiovisual technology fair where the latest equipment solutions are exhibited, including the latest launches made at NAB and CineGear.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about and test the Lumix S5IIX and GH7 cameras, in addition to attending a talk “Motion, image and perfection”, which was given by engineer Rafael Plaça from Panasonic, who shared important information about Lumix operations. in Brazil.
“We were at FilmTech with our I9 partners, accompanied by Delta and Casa dos Marios, among other manufacturing companies and service providers in the photo and video area. It was a very interesting event since we had the opportunity to talk with many people from the area and make very important contacts,” said Plaça.
Engineer Plaça also offered details of his presentation: “Our focus at FilmTech was on Lumix cameras, which are returning to the Brazilian market after a few years. We show the main models that we are introducing, highlighting their technical characteristics and the benefit of a three-year warranty and local services guaranteed by the factory for all consumers who purchase the camera from an official representative in Brazil,” he concluded.
PARTNERSHIP WITH MACKENZIE PRESBYTERIAN UNIVERSITY
On November 5, Panasonic do Brasil formalized its academic alliance with the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (UPM), marking the launch of the institution's "Cinema and Audiovisual" course. As part of this collaboration, Panasonic donated equipment to support the training of future professionals in the area.
During the event, those present were able to participate in a talk with the filmmaker Fábio Mendonça, director of the "Cangaço Novo" series, mediated by the journalist and film critic Flávia Guerra.
