Strengths and Features

Pulsed MAG welding with a duty cycle of 100 % at an output of 700 A

A deposition rate of 300 g/min or more can be achieved with a single welding pass using one welding power source unit and a single torch. In addition, new pulse control suppresses unstable droplet transfer (rotating transfer) at high currents and achieves a stable arc.

High-quality MAG welding even at low output currents

Gaps and burn through at the ends are suppressed even at low output currents

High-speed wire feeding up to 35 m/min

In order to achieve high-speed and high-precision wire feeding, the power capacity of the new brushless motor was increased and the control method was changed. This enables high-speed wire feeding and improved control accuracy. The change of the roller fixing method improves ease of maintenance.

Easy-to-understand display for intuitive operation

The intuitive operation developed for the GR3 series has evolved further. The setting of welding conditions is completed by entering the required parameters in order from left to right on the display.

* When used as a robot power source, this product should be operated from the teach pendant.

Output management functions support welding quality control and frontline management

Various welding data including the motor current and arc time are output. It is also possible to issue notifications for cases where the preset upper or lower limit is exceeded by blinking the LCD display.
These functions are useful for achieving uniform welding quality and recognizing the timing of maintenance.

Issues

Improving productivity

High-current and high-quality welding reduces the number of passes to enhance the operation efficiency.

Wire feeding performance

Equipped with a new feeding motor, this product achieves high-speed wire feeding. In addition, the method to fix the feeding roller was changed to improve the ease of maintenance for the feeding system.

Ensuring sufficient penetration

High-current welding enables deep penetration. Improved arc stability achieves welding with low spatter and a flat bead appearance.
