Features

32-bit floating recording*

The camera offers 32-bit floating recording, improving the quality and efficiency of the entire workflow. With its wide dynamic range, the 32-bit floating format records more information, from quiet sounds to loud sounds. As a result, there is no need for tedious sound level adjustments while recording audio. Video and music can be managed in a single file, making post-production much more efficient.
*Compatible model from October 2024: LUMIX GH7 (DC-GH7).

High quality stereo sound

This accessory allows you to connect an XLR microphone and capture high-quality stereo sound. When recording MOV or ProRes, high-resolution audio recording and 4-channel audio recording* can also be selected. This accessory also supports plug-in power usage.
*LUMIX GH6 (DC-GH6) does not support floating recording or 4-channel audio recording with only one microphone connected to this unit. The LUMIX S5II (DC-S5M2) / S5IIX (DC-S5M2X) / G9II (DC-G9M2) do not support floating recording with only one microphone connected to the unit.
