A tilt and free-angle monitor designed for comfortable creative work

A tilt and free-angle rear monitor lets you compose shots on the optical axis. You can rotate the monitor while the cable is still plugged in, which also makes it extremely useful for video production. When shooting outdoors, the high-resolution OLED viewfinder with approximately 5,760k dots supports natural framing.

Intuitive control that sync with the creator's work

Designed with ergonomics in mind, every button, dial, and joystick is thoughtfully positioned for intuitive use. It inherits the uncompromising operability of the LUMIX S1RII and S1II, and its approximately 795g body is built for mobility in the field. An operation lock lever helps prevent accidental adjustments.

From ultra-high-resolution 6K 30p 10-bit recording to C4K, 4K, 3.3K, and FHD, the LUMIX S1IIE offers a wide range of video formats to meet a variety of creative demands and shooting styles. It also supports internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording, delivering exceptional image quality and flexible shooting options, ideal for professional workflows. Open gate 6K 30p (3:2) recording is also supported.

24.2MP BSI CMOS sensor for true-to-life, rich detail

LUMIX’s unique colour science, based on its picture-making philosophy “Capturing It All,” works in harmony with a 24.2MP BSI CMOS sensor to produce stunningly lifelike images. HEIF recording is now available as an option, adding extra flexibility to your workflow. High Resolution mode also enables you to capture 96MP-equivalent images*, even when shooting handheld, for exceptional detail without sacrificing mobility.

High-speed AFC burst shooting at up to 30 fps

In H+ Burst Shooting mode, the camera achieves blackout-free shooting at approximately 10 fps with AFC using the mechanical shutter*, allowing for confident framing with post view support. Switch to the electronic shutter’s SH Burst or SH Pre-Burst modes, and you can capture critical moments at up to 30 fps, even during fast-moving scenes like sports or wildlife.

Equipped with Phase Hybrid AF system that delivers high speed, precision, and tracking performance, the LUMIX S1IIE takes autofocus to the next level. With advanced AI technology, it can accurately recognize and focus on eyes and faces, even in challenging conditions where faces are tilted or partially obscured. The system now includes the Urban Sports recognition, enabling the camera to maintain precise focus on your subject, even in dynamic performance scenes. Additionally, the Motorcycle mode has evolved into the Motorcycle/Bike recognition mode.

Built to withstand extremes from -10°C* to 40°C

The LUMIX S1IIE is designed to operate at temperatures as low as -10°C,* and has also been verified for operation at temperatures as high as 40°C. Even in harsh field environments, it will support your passion for shooting photos and videos without fail.

Compatible with a variety of recording media

The LUMIX S1IIE is equipped with a dual card slot. Slot 1 is compatible with CFexpress Type B cards, enabling smooth recording of high-speed burst shooting and high-bitrate video. It also supports direct recording to USB-SSD, giving you the flexibility to choose the recording media that best suits your needs.
