Panasonic will supply next-generation AV solutions, including professional displays, broadcast production equipment and projection systems, for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which will take place from July 26 to August 11, and for the Paralympic Games, scheduled for August 28 to September 8.

As a global Olympic and Paralympic partner and founding member of The Olympic Partner (TOP) programme, Panasonic will work closely with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the Olympic Games and the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to provide strong support to operations of the event.

Aligned with the goal of making Paris 2024 a more sustainable event, Panasonic proposes innovative solutions to the industry's current labor shortage and the challenges of sophisticated visual expression.

Its Kairos IT/IP platform will deliver video content on large LED screens at nearly all competition venues – 26 in total – simplifying workflows and streamlining operations by producing content for up to three venues through a single Kairos Core. .

On the other hand, 29 of its remote cameras will be present in the press rooms. These solutions will improve operational efficiency, addressing hardware and software aspects compared to previous events.

Panasonic's labor-saving projection technology reduces resource allocation for transportation, storage and installation, reducing the event's carbon footprint.

In addition, the Japanese brand's recently introduced Remotely Managed Service will allow operators to manage and monitor large-scale multi-projection systems via the cloud and address potential image misalignments caused by factors such as vibration without being present on the site. Together, these innovations will contribute to the event's desire for sustainability.

It is worth noting that Panasonic has provided audiovisual equipment and services to the Olympic and Paralympic Games for more than 30 years, starting in Barcelona 1992. Additionally, in October 2014, it made history as the first Japanese company to become a global Paralympic partner of the Committee. International Paralympic, contributing to peace and development in the international community and the promotion of para sport.
