May was a month of putting Panasonic | LUMIX on the road. From São Paulo to Curitiba, the brand participated in events aimed at different audiovisual audiences, occupying fairs, workshops, training spaces and creative events with a common goal: to bring together technology, practical experience and people driven by the desire to create.

ABC Week 2026 — the sector under discussion

The agenda began between May 13th and 15th at the Cinemateca Brasileira, during ABC Week 2026. Considered one of the most important gatherings in Brazilian audiovisual production, the event brought together students, professionals, and companies from the sector for debates, demonstrations, and exchanges about the paths of contemporary production. At the stands of Delta and i9, official partners of the brand, Panasonic | LUMIX presented equipment such as the GH7 and the S1IIE, in addition to providing practical demonstrations and conversations with LUMIX Creators throughout the three days.

The close relationship with the public was one of the highlights of the brand's participation in the event. For Victor Santos, ABC Week was also an opportunity to understand the needs of professionals at different stages of their careers.

"Participating in ABC Week as a Panasonic representative was very important because, in addition to being closer to LUMIX line users, I was able to understand the market's pain points in the search for innovative equipment. We had visitors at the booth who were starting their careers as videographers or filmmakers with questions about which camera to choose for future films or creative videos. As well as professionals already working in audiovisual media looking to understand the benefits of replacing their current equipment with a LUMIX camera. So, events like ABC Week bring Panasonic LUMIX closer to both those who already use the cameras and those who want to try them out.” Victor Santos, Official LUMIX Creator.

The GH7 was one of the cameras that attracted the most attention at the event. The model combines autofocus with phase detection and real-time recognition, internal Apple ProRes RAW recording, and 32-bit floating audio in a compact and agile body suitable for different production routines. The S1IIE, on the other hand, presented features geared towards more advanced workflows, with OpenGate 6K 30p 10-bit recording, LUMIX color science, and a free-angle articulating monitor for different shooting styles.

Try it! Curitiba — when equipment becomes experience.

The following week, on May 20th, it was Curitiba's turn to host Experimenta! Panasonic | LUMIX, held in partnership with Vale a Pena Hub. The event brought together creators, photographers, filmmakers, and audiovisual enthusiasts in a program featuring lectures, workshops, networking, and hands-on experiences. The Panasonic | LUMIX booth put the public in direct contact with the brand's cameras and lenses through practical tests, exchange of experiences, and demonstrations throughout the day.

The event was attended by ambassador Daniel Cajal and creators Valentino Mello, Victor Santos, and Alba Reis, as well as the special participation of brothers Sérgio and Gabriel Twardowski. Throughout the day, more than 500 photos were captured, edited, and delivered in real time to the participants, reinforcing the dynamic atmosphere of the event.

SENAI Mooca Workshop — the first contact that matters.

On May 25th, Panasonic | LUMIX and Hollyland brought together students and audiovisual enthusiasts at SENAI Mooca for a workshop focused on the practical experimentation of equipment. During the meeting, cameras and lenses circulated among the participants as students explored features, tested creative possibilities, and understood how different models fit into real production workflows.

Among the equipment presented were the LUMIX S5II, S1RII, S1II, and S9, versatile, agile, and compact models, prepared to accompany everything from day-to-day content creation to the most demanding professional productions.

Direct contact between students and the equipment was one of the central points of the initiative. For Rafael Plaça, Pre-Sales Engineer at Panasonic | LUMIX, the workshop also represented an opportunity to bring technology closer to the reality of those who are starting out in audiovisual production:

"The workshop was an excellent opportunity for exchange with the SENAI students. In addition to learning from the lecture by Gui, director of Porta dos Fundos, the students also had direct contact with the LUMIX cameras, experiencing firsthand the technologies they offer." Rafael Plaça, Pre-Sales Engineer at Panasonic | LUMIX

Church Tech Expo — audiovisual beyond the studios

Closing out the month, Panasonic LUMIX also participated in the Church Tech Expo, held on May 27th and 28th in São Paulo, once again alongside i9. Considered the largest trade show in Latin America focused on technology and infrastructure for churches, it brings together religious leaders, media teams, technicians, and companies from the audiovisual market around solutions to professionalize church communication. Panasonic | LUMIX's presence at the event reinforced the versatility of its equipment in different audiovisual production and transmission contexts.

In May, each event had a different pace, audience, and conversation. In common, they all showed how audiovisual media continues to be built through direct contact between people and ideas.
