With the AK-UCU600 Camera Control Unit (CCU), uncompressed longdistance transmission of 4K/HD video signals via optical fiber is supported. The AK-HRP1000GJ/1005GJ Remote Operation Panels (ROP) are equipped with a color LCD display that provides excellent visibility and functions for quick response. This system achieves high-quality video and excellent operability. In cases where power is supplied by the CCU, it is possible to transmit at a long distance of up to approx. 2,000 m between the camera and the CCU. The distance can be extended up to 10,000 m by providing a local power supply at the camera head and using general-purpose single mode optical fiber. Between the CCU and the ROP, in addition to a dedicated serial line, IP connection via LAN cable is also supported.

With this NDI I/F Unit attached, the Live Switcher AV-UHS500 supports input and output via the high quality, low latency video transmission of NDI®* and the stable, low bit rate transmission of NDI®|HX*. This enables the construction of IP streaming systems covering operations from video transmission to camera control using a single LAN cable and supports remote live video production at sports and other event venues.* In this instance, NDI® is used to indicate low latency with high bandwidth NDI®, NDI®|HX is used to indicate high efficiency low bandwidth NDI®|HX. The “KAIROS Creator” software (supported with Windows10 and MacOS Catalina, Big Sur) features an easy-to-use intuitive GUI and various settings and operation are possible. It also displays the GUI control panel to make space saving operation possible.

The Software Control Panel enables a networked PCor tablet connected to the AV-HSW10 main unit to be used for diverse operations and configurations. Both inputs and outputs can be easily confirmed on the Multiviewer screen for intuitive operation. Combination of the AV-HSW10 with a PC or tablet loaded with the Software Control Panel enables workload sharing and remote operation on location. Intuitive operation minimizes setup time for certain configurations, increasing the efficiency of video recording, production and single-operator transmission.
